Vinyls shop on Instagram is a much needed bright spot in the world. It’s a salve to the spirit to watch people from all walks of life melt into the music that brings them joy. 

The shop and its music are also an indirect celebration of Blackness via musical creativity and artistry. Not all the musical artists played at the shop are Black, but virtually all of the music featured is of African diaspora music traditions of the United States, the Caribbean, and England.
